2007 Livermore Valley Cabernet Franc

Elegant wine start to finish. Brick red in color and sensational aromas of raspberry, butterscotch and hint of smoke oak. Velvet mouthfeeel with rounded tannins. Fruit carries through on the palate and picks up olives and earthy qualities. Long lasting finish with evolving flavors. This is a blend of 90% Smith Ranch Cabernet Franc, 5% Triska Crane Ridge Merlot, 3% Galles Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Smith Ranch Petit Verdot. Wine pairs nicely with salmon and light meats.
