2009 Livermore Valley Cabernet Franc

Larry’s 2009 Cabernet Franc is beautiful to behold, enticingly fragrant, and filled with sweet red raspberries and red licorice, lurking among layers of pomegranate and hints of prosciutto. The smooth, velvety texture makes this wine a delight to drink on its own. The mouthfeel is elegant and amazing.

Even better than the 08, which was frankly, Franc’in delicious, this comes from the White Cat vineyards in Crane Ridge, where we have more control of the vineyard. It was aged in French oak with a slight amount of American.
