|2013 Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Gold Medal - 2017 SF Chronicle Wine Competition
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
The Cuda Ridge reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a selection of the best of the barrels (Cabernet and blenders) for the vintage, and aged for 30+ months in French Oak. Elegant and complex from beginning to end. Reminds me of sitting in my grandfathers smoky office with leather chairs and box of open fresh cigars. Red fruit of cherries and pomegranate are layered with the leather, smoke and tobacco. This wine has depth and can be enjoyed by itself, or with a nicely seared Rib-eye steak.
Compostion: 83% Galles Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Smith Ranch Petit Verdot, 2% One Oak Vineyard Merlot, and 2% White Cat Malbec.
